What is the role of Digital India in rural areas?

The word Digital India has been famous since 2014. It was an initiative taken by India’s Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi. Since then, it has changed how rural areas use online services via apps and the web. I have discussed below the role of Digital India and how it empowered to get jobs and services in remote parts of India.

Online payment gateway systems are available like AEPS or Aadhar enabled payment system, using unified payment interface or UPI and via net banking on websites. Government Services Online

The digital India initiatives have enabled farmers to book and procure agricultural-related loans, manure, and sell agricultural produce to the government and apply for agricultural development schemes. It has empowered start-ups to take advantage of Rural Entrepreneurship through Common Services Centers or CSCs. They are able to engage themselves as an e-governance online service provider. E-Seva is one such franchisee to earn money by serving government-based online services. They help rural people apply for government schemes and pay property tax and fees related to local body registrations.

Local Jobs in Rural areas

Digital India’s dream was possible using our web and app developers and related internet-enabled service providers. Thus, website designers, developers, and allied services get a job locally. They need not approach big cities to seek employment in IT services. They are now developing online service apps and web for the needy rural people. It has given internet service providers opportunities to access internet services to the remote rural areas in India.

Today, India is online in the remote villages of India. One must thank Shir Narendra Modi for bringing such changes in electronics, the internet, and allied services.
