Technical errors in AEPS.The Aadhaar-enabled payment system, or AePS, was one of the most happing digital payments availed by ordinary people of India from 2015. Yet, it is still in demand for business correspondents or BC, AePS service providers, and agents in villages and cities. AePS-enabled customers faced many technical issues. There wear many technical errors faced by the service providers PAN India. I have detailed it here with the reasons for such errors.
Poor Internet Connectivity
AePS service providers need stable and good internet connectivity for making digital payment services. If you use mobile data and the signals are weak, transaction errors can happen. Such errors are unavoidable if you use Wi-Fi. Due to such internet connectivity issues, the customer and service providers have to confirm with their bank to know whether their financial transactions were successful or not.
The best way to serve AePS customers is to use a broadband or wireline internet connection. Thus, AePS transaction failure errors due to poor internet connection will decrease to 0.1% for the service providers.
Virus in your System
Any harmful virus on your PC or laptop will adversely affect AePS services. It mostly makes faulty internet access too. Thus, the agent cannot find what is happening when they get multiple errors. The AePS is online transactions. Thus, your internet-connected devices are more prone to getting infected by viruses.
It is advisable to contact your distributor or call a system technician and find the leading cause of such errors while making online payments. The AePS service providers must use premium antivirus and internet security to reduce the risk of viruses.
Server Errors
The AePS uses your bank’s server and the service provider’s server as digital services. Any slowness or no service due to maintenance can show a decline in AePS transactions.
The AePS customers are advised to read bank notification SMS of such server maintenance and no online service availability for specific day hours. It would help if you did not blame the AePS service provider for dishonor due to your bank server being down.
